Privacy Policy

ReplySpider (replyspider.com) watches X and Reddit for posts that match your keywords, subreddits and accounts, then drafts a reply for you to review. This page explains what data we collect, why we keep it, and who processes it. Questions go to support@replyspider.com.

What we collect

To sign you in, we store your email address and name. For each project you create, we store your keywords, subreddits and account watches, the public posts they match, the labels and drafts we generate, and any edits or feedback (thumbs up/down) you give on a draft.

Why we keep post text and drafts

Matched posts and their drafts stay in your project so you can review them, and so your edits and feedback can improve future drafts for that project. This data is scoped to your project and account, not shared across other customers.

Secrets

If you connect your own Zernio key, or set up webhook URLs or alert targets (Discord, Slack, Telegram, email), those values are encrypted at rest with AES-GCM. Once saved, they are never shown back to you or to us in plain text.

Who processes data

Depending on how you use ReplySpider, your data may pass through: Cloudflare (hosting and database), socialdata.tools (X data), socialcrawl.dev (Reddit data), DataForSEO (keyword volume), OpenAI (labeling posts and drafting replies), Resend (magic-link sign-in email), Autumn and Stripe (billing), and Zernio (only if you connect your own account, to post the reply you approve). Each handles data under its own privacy policy.

Analytics

We use OpenPanel, a privacy-friendly product analytics tool, to understand how the app is used: page views and product events like signing up or creating a watch. OpenPanel never receives your post text or drafts.

Retention and deletion

You can delete a project at any time from your dashboard, which removes its watches, matched posts and drafts. Deleting your account removes everything tied to it. If you'd rather we do it for you, email support@replyspider.com.
